This is what a high school English teacher had to say about the novel:
"Rogue Harvest is a well written science fiction novel that would appeal to senior high students. It deals with an aspect of science fiction (biology and ecosystems) that would interest science students who are looking for challenging and interesting novels with a science base. The novel is presented in such a fashion that students can immediately get involved in the story line and this in turn can initiate debate and discussion on how we, as humans, treat our world. Four students who had the opportunity to preview the novel, enjoyed what they read and recommended it to other science students."
Because of the young protagonists (mid to late twenties) this novel would be an effective teaching tool for ecology and related subjects for high school students aged 16 and up.
